The Brief
CG Wedding Events is a rustic wedding styling business run by Charley, specialising in creating beautiful, rustic wedding days across the UK. With a growing reputation and word-of-mouth referrals coming in, Charley was ready for a website that matched her quality of its work.
What Charley needed was simple: a website that felt effortless, elegant, and completely hers, something that would make the couples feel they’d found exactly what they were looking for, before they’d even made contact.
The Problem
Without a website, Charley’s business existed almost entirely in DMs and referrals. There was no single place for potential clients to land, understand what was on offer, see the work, and feel ready to get in touch.
That gap matters. Couples planning a wedding research carefully. If a business doesn’t look polished and credible online, it doesn’t get shortlisted, regardless of how good the actual work is.
The problem wasn’t visibility. It was trust. Charley needed a digital presence that gave people confidence the moment they arrived.

I spent time understanding the business, who Charley’s ideal clients are, what makes CG Wedding Events different, and what feeling the website needed to evoke the moment someone landed on it.
From there, everything was built around that clarity, not just how the site looked, but how it moved, what it said, and how easy it made the next step for a potential client. Every choice had a reason.
The build was done from scratch, no templates, no WordPress, no shortcuts. That means a site that loads fast, holds up over time, and can grow with the business without hitting the limits of a platform.
The Solution
Design & Feel
Warm, editorial, and personal. The design language was drawn directly from Charley’s brand, earthy tones, considered typography, and a layout that feels calm and confident rather than busy or generic. The goal was to make every visitor feel like they’d found the right person.
Structure & UX
The site was structured around the way couples actually look for a wedding supplier: browse the work, understand the offer, read a little about the person behind it, then get in touch. Each page has a clear job. Nothing competes for attention. The path from arrival to enquiry is frictionless.
Build Quality
Coded in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, no page builder, no unnecessary dependencies. It includes a custom gallery system so Charley can update her portfolio without touching code, and a contact form wired up for reliable enquiry handling. Fast, clean, and built to last.
The Outcome
CG Wedding Events now has a website that matches the quality of the business behind it. Potential clients land on something that feels considered, professional, and distinctly Charley, which is exactly what converts browsers into enquiries in the wedding industry.
