Terms &
Conditions
Last updated: April 2026
About these terms
These terms and conditions apply to all web design and development services provided by Paul Gregory, trading as PG Web Design (“I”, “me”, “my”), based in Lichfield, West Midlands, UK. By commissioning work, you (“the client”) agree to these terms.
Project agreements
All projects begin with a written quote outlining the scope, deliverables, timeline, and cost. Work does not begin until the quote has been approved and a deposit received. Any changes to the agreed scope may affect the price and timeline, and will be agreed in writing before proceeding.
Payment
A deposit of 50% of the project total is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due on completion, before the website goes live or files are transferred. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice. Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.
Client responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information, content, and materials required for the project in a timely manner. Delays caused by late content or feedback may affect the agreed timeline. You confirm that any content you supply does not infringe third-party rights.
Revisions
Each project includes a reasonable number of revision rounds as outlined in the quote. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope will be charged at my standard hourly rate, agreed in advance.
Intellectual property
Upon receipt of full payment, you own the final website design and code produced for your project. I retain the right to display the work in my portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing. Third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins) remain subject to their own licence terms.
Hosting and ongoing support
Where I arrange hosting on your behalf, this is subject to the terms of the hosting provider. Ongoing support and maintenance is provided under a separate agreement. I am not liable for downtime or issues caused by third-party hosting providers.
Limitation of liability
My total liability for any claim arising from services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid for the project in question. I am not liable for any indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of the website.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project with written notice. If you cancel after work has begun, you remain liable for payment for all work completed to that point. If I terminate the project due to your non-compliance with these terms, the same applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
